Biryani Woman- A human Goddess

Covid pandemic which has effected everyone’s life. People have lost their jobs, some have lost their dear ones and others are so scared of the situation that they are not ready to come out of their home. In such grave situation, many are trying their best to serve society with what they can do to help needy people. One such example of humanity Safreena, a woman of Phuliyakulam village in Coimbatore who is distributing packets of biryani to those who don’t have money or other sources to have food.

Today when people are dying due to lack of income as they are not able to have food for themselves, a popularly known Biryani Woman from Coimbatore, is distributing free biryani to those poor people who don’t have money to buy food for themselves. Her aim is to feed those people who are unable to eat due to financial constraints.

Thanks to social media that her efforts are being appreciated and some young people have uploaded her photo with her social work, so that many people can get benefitted. Although usually this woman sells a plate of biryani for 20 rupees. But she does not take a single penny from the poor people and feeds them with good amount of Biryani.

She is promoting her social work with a board outside her small shop, on which it is written in Tamil that if you are hungry then take a packet of biryani from here for free. It’s her such great gesture that people call her an example of humanity and salute her for setting an example for those who really want to work for the welfare of the society.
