Pregnant DSP risks life, urging people to stay home.

 

Pandemic Covid is hitting hard at everyone. People are too scared about the whole situation and thus are not able to take right decisions regarding this disease. Many people are helping others in such hard times and in this league one of these are DSP Shilpa Sahu who is urging people to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Now you may ask what’s a big deal in this. But here is the twist in the story.

DSP Shilpa Sahu, is five months pregnant, but is seen standing in scorching heat just to make people aware of COVID-19 safety guidelines and urges people to follow them.

Her such brave act is winning everyone’s hearts online. DSP Shilpa Sahu, who is posted in the Maoist affected town, Dantewada of Bastar division in Chhattisgarh, was seen regulating the traffic. This dutiful photo of Shilpa was shared by IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra on Twitter. He wrote that the picture is of Dantewada DSP Shilpa Sahu, who even during her pregnancy, is busy with her team in the scorching sun and is appealing to people on the streets to follow the lockdown seriously.

The picture also shows DSP Sahu holding a lathi in her hand and wearing a face mask while standing in the scorching heat of summers. Pregnant Sahu is asking people not to step outside without any reason and urges them to stay at their homes.

It's because of brave people like these especially from our police department that people have chosen to stay home, and followed the Covid guidelines seriously. Hats off to all these people for their encouragement.
